Telstra made the appointment I haven't dealt with the NBN people at this stage so i'm unsure who is to blame for the no show. But from my previous dealings with Telstra I believe it's another Telstra's mess up, just like when they made the appt they told me a case manager would be in contact with me prior to the appt date - didn't happen.

I have had a whole week of that, no shows and late shows, I think it's just how many people are these days. Either too busy and can't organise their own schedules or just don't care.
Phone, TV antannae, balustrade replacement, qotes for electronic gate, quotes for driveway, Toll delivery of dog door insert. All late or no show. They seem surprised when I call and ask if they are actually coming as scheduled.

I agree Az it seems everything business wise is a drama nothing runs smoothly these days. I got 2 letters in the mail yesterday both were wrong which meant I had to spend time on the phone sorting out their errors.

and I thought it was just me getting old and cranky,
it seems all I do is sit around waiting for people to do their job and have to constantly follow up why things are not done and then they get snaky when I tell them its the third time and they still havent got it right.

and this is from a small local ISP that I have been with since they started from a back yard buisness, and they give great customer service and the boss will reply to messages.
