We got 4 big flat screen TV's from when the place where my OH worked remodelled. They sold them at first (we bought 3 then), but then after a while just to get rid of them, they gave them away! They make brilliant PC monitors!

The only think I recall getting from the dump is a flat tyre.

Scavenging at the dump not allowed. Rubbish dumped in a pit and grader pushes into a big heap.

I only went to the tip with my husband once and I could not stand the smell LOL

We used to always come home with treasure from the tip. You just had to time your visits for the bulldozer driver's smoko or live dangerously. 😄

umm too many to list

one that sticks to mind, a fella advertised in the quokka free section.. everything contained in his garage must go because he didnt want to cart it over east

i filled my trailer and car with lots of goodies, tools galore! etc etc

A set of speakers (which I still use now) 

An LCD monitor (in a box with all the cables)

An old dining room table

A couple of wooden chairs

Multiple CRT TVs

And my brother gave me his old iPhone 4, so I guess that counts
