.........that compels people to attend major league football games at a stadium in their thousands?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

The problem I have with the ridiculous argument that golf clubs or knives or legs of lamb can also be used to inflict lethal harm is that that is not their primary purpose. Shooting and killing things was not the reason for their invention.

btw I'm a bit cranky because the bloody Waratahs and Craig Joubert beat my Brumbies ๐Ÿ˜ž

What is the motivation...........

off the top of my head I can think of two occasions where people have been killed whilst participating in the sport of shooting.

I can't really think of any footballers killed playing football. Not saying there hasn't been any, but nothing springs to mind

And there I was thinking you were a golf fan. John Daly goes by the sobriquet of The Wild Thing. It's none other than this John Daly:

After bad round, Daly loses temper and smashes spectator's camera

SYDNEY, Australia -- John Daly smashed a spectator's camera into a tree while shooting a 6-over 78 in the first round of the Australian Open on Thursday, making it likely he will miss the cut for the third consecutive week Down Under.

After pushing his tee shot wide on the ninth hole -- his last -- Daly walked into a clump of trees, where spectator Brad Clegg tried to take a picture at close range.

Daly snatched the camera and smashed it against the nearest tree, telling the man, "You want it back, I'll buy you a new one."
