I think Blackbird was on the White Album.  Hang on.  I'll just check.

My son taught himself to play Blackbird on the guitar, its such a pretty sounding song. We researched it for one of his school projects, apparently its about racism, or the fight for freedom for black people...something like that.

Aw that was nice thanks for the link Joono,

I had a crush on George Harrison in the early years. I lost interest once they went all psychedelic and then split up. John took up with Yoko.

Number Nine was well listened to :^O.  Apparently if you played the record backwards they were singing Paul is dead.

I want to hold your hand

I pick this first because we have an old family home-movie of me and my three brothers pretending to be the Beatles and lip-syncing to this song. It went in order of age. The oldest was John, second-oldest was Paul, third George, and fourth Ringo. I was number three, so I was George. The second oldest chickened out though, so our female neighbor subbed for him. The video shows him whining on the sidelines, while the neighbor was having a great time being Paul!

Great memories!  B-)
