What is your favourite dust mask?

I went to a major hardware store and they had a 2 pack of 3m  masks for $19. The P2 type with the valve that expels air.

It was very comfortable.

I use them when cleaning computer dust.

A computer repair man told me that using a brush to clean the motherboard is fine. He does it all the time and he must have fixed hundreds of computers. The cans of compressed air get moisture on them.

DIY - Free.   Take the side off the tower and use a soft brush to clean inside.  There is always a lot of fluff etc inside.  The fan sucks it in.

There are also computer repairers who specialise in tablets, ipads and smart phones. I imagine there are saving to be had if you use a gumtree computer repair person.

Re: What is your favourite dust mask?

Li Vish , please explain ? This is a general discussion (non ebay related ) board isn't it ?

is it OK to post about what's for sale on other sites  ? as long as it's on topic ?

could I list some items for free on that other free listing site and talk about them here ....if I started a thread about them on CS  and stayed on topic ?

Have we found the real Ora?

This is a fun thread, is fun no longer permitted here?

Re: What is your favourite dust mask?

The brush the computer man recommended was a regular brand new paint brush.

Like 50mm paint brush or smaller I guess. Be careful not to bump off the wireless, sound cards or RAM. I use a football pump to clean some areas as well.  The way the chemicals work in those air cans it gets freezing cold on the outside of the can with moisture.

Re: What is your favourite dust mask?

Lmao I love the football pump idea. I'm going to get one. Do you think it'll blow the nicotine off my computer wires and prevent it shorting out? I'll make sure I wear a dust mask when I'm pumping.

These masks can last for months. The headstrap breaks eventually.
