we got one last year, Mr Boris just had to have one - it's the oscar neo DA/1000, at the time it was supposed to be one of the better ones on the market (for under $1000 anyway) - think it was about $420. Easy to clean but still had to chop things up.

Donna be sure to get one that adds the pulp to the juice, the one I have only juices and removes the pulp.

We just bought a Breville Fountain Plus Juicer. Big feed chute as you thought.
So far very happy with it. We juice a couple of times a day, it seems to handle the strain with aplomb.
Sounds like a jet engine when it winds up though, warn the neighbours.
Juicing is great, love it.
The stuff that gets thrown out is perfect for my worm farm too (side benefit), already minced up.
We'll share some juicing recipes Donna !

I do not have one, but my tip would be to google any ones you like the sound of, with the word review.
so you can get a lot of comments and suggestions on how to use it best 🙂
and to see if there are any problems with a certain model. Because sometimes, one model is great, but another isn't. So model numbers would be great please for this thread
whirlpool forums are good for product reviews in general, I checked out my dishwasher and washing machines choices on there before buying...worth a look.
