What's the go on here? :(

Are the Labor supporters so desperate on here that they have to report every post they feel is anti Labor. I know this is happening because I have been pm'd & it has also happened to me so it can't be ignored any longer with out someone standing up & telling everybody what's happening on here.

Just what are you all afraid of? we all have a right to post our opinions on here without being attacked by multiple bp'ing then sanctioned for a little trip to PNG.

This kind of activity is destroying this forum, driving posters away & scaring any newbie off.

Freedom to post on political threads without the personal attacks, negative snipes & then the pack attack reporting is what is happening. Being able to reply or defend oneself is now impossible without an attack.

Chin up all, we have 30 days of the election campaign & we should be able to post our opinions & articles without the spamming  partisan hatreds, I think we are all a little bit better than that aren't we?

It's good to see the rubbishy copy/paste and the kindy offensive cartoons being moderated as being disruptive, it's about time.

Oh come on!

You may have some valid points as to the severe moderation and editing going on at the moment, but don't pretend it is all one sided.  You should have a look at my inbox Smiley Surprised

I don't think it is all the result of BPing either.  I think most of it is off the moderators own bat.

In the past , going by what stayed and what didn't ....I'd say that things may fairer and more as they should be now

...than they used to be .

I think that chunks of posts being removed could also be moderators choice, not reported posts. Also, one post can infringe posting rules and  be removed and the following posts responding to that post are also removed.

Re: What's the go on here? :(

Why is that all anybody here has to is goad a poster into replying to them then to get the poster removed for interpersonal dispute.. I see this type of behaviour all the time on here & protesting "I never report".

A poster has the right to post their opinion & if the majority on here don't like that opinion then leave the thread or post some constructive reply, don't report because you have some percieved dislike for certain posters so you report them all the time.

The secret pleasure to see your opposer removed is far too easy to manipulate. This new lot are far worse than the old lot, there's much more repoting & removals, editing, moderating & if anybody can't see that then they are not part of the members getting reported  & therefore have nothing to complain about.

This type of thread is important to bring attention to the serial reporters who are ruining the boards & if that's what  all want then looks like they will all got what their actions resulted in, a wasteland.

Re: What's the go on here? :(

IMO, i really doubt that reporting is rife

you only have to read threads to know the mods are reading them  and are taking appropriate action.

i for one are glad they are doing so.

Re: What's the go on here? :(

Will CS be a wasteland if there are no political threads? There will still be general threads. It is only in the last 6-12 mths the political threads have become more prolific.
