I've just done battle with a portable garden hose trolley and several metres of wrapping paper. What's the weirdest shape you have had to wrap?
(like this, and it didn't come in a box )

Silly girl. Should've gone to the supermarket and got a box.
Would've made life easier
I get the kids to wrap everything these days.
I just write on the labels

My DD used her car to wrap an early Christmas present for me and Mr Elephant yesterday. She called in on her way home from her brother's house in Perth and said "DS and DIL have sent something down for you . It's in the back of the car. They don't want it any longer but they thought you might like it."
I immediately assumed it was hand-me-down computer equipment (DS runs his own Database consultancy so we get quite a few hand-me-downs) so I fowwed her out to the car, she flung open the back door ......... and there was my eldest granddaughter whom they had flown over from Tasmania as a Christmas surprise. They had arranged it in compete secrecy - She had been at DS's house since 17th and no-one had breathed a word.I was so overcome I burst into tears.
