Just a bit of fun this Christmas season.
We can all give thanks we never have to tolerate Gillard & Rudd in our Parliament ever again. We can celebrate the government we have now & know this: nothing they ever stuff up will ever come near the destruction this mob visited on this country.
They have left the Labor party in ruins, they showed us how not to run a country & they have indelibly ruined themselves in the eyes of any sensible thinking voter.

"nothing they ever stuff up will ever come near the destruction this mob visited on this country."
If any government stuff up is found it should be judged by the 'stuff up" alone and that leadership held accountable. I personally don't want to forgive or nullify a "stuff up" simply on the basis that a past government was comparably or marginally "worse'

Oh yes.....kinda like (what was the expression Keating used in the House?)...........like a dog going back to its own vomit.

Why?? hoping everybody will forget your party was the worst in Australias History!! Just like the Labor party have shoved theim heads in the sand & blamed it all on "disunity".

You are soooooo presumptuous......I have never voted Labor in my life.
Some are capable of independent thought.....which crosses party lines.

Exactly. Glad you see my point, not too obtuse for you.

The previous federal government saved Australia from the disastrous global financial crisis from which many countries have yet to recover......if at all possible.
And the Treasurer was praised globally for this achievement.
Imagine where we would be if the current government was making the decisions at that time.
Credit should be given where credit is due. (no pun intended).

I would remind those who criticise the previous Federal government on its handling of finance......
Julia Gillard and Wayne Swan took office in June 2010.
In November 2011 FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY Australia was granted a AAA credit rating (with a 'stable outlook') by all three Agencies......... and the current Government inherited this.

Did Kevin Rudd go to the last Federal Election with fully costed ,fully funded policies ?
Tony Abbott lead voters to believe that the Coalitions were fully funded and fully costed...and they weren't
Have all Coalition policies been fully costed?
Our ruling
The Coalition today released a document showing its spending and savings measures. It produces a bottom line, but does not an account for the way each policy has been costed, displaying the assumptions and the process in plain sight.
Showing that numbers add up without revealing how they were arrived at has little value.
We know that the PBO looked at most policies and the panel of experts looked at all of them. But three major policies were not submitted to the PBO for costing, and there are big questions over the assumptions behind each of them.
The pamphlet in question was created and circulated well before today’s announcement.
To tell voters that "all Coalition policies are fully costed and fully funded" is inaccurate.
We rate the statement False.
