So are we allow to thank God that these women are finally found?

I hear that God will make it up to these women for their pain and suffering when they die. Sounds great doesn't it?

These girls prayed and prayed everyday for the past 10 years while the abductors raped and abused them repeatedly, I guess their prayers are finally answered right?

If God gives us freewill, then does that mean he can't help us or ever intervene?

If this was all part of God's plan, doesn't it sound a bit sick to you?

Actually lets just blame God for everything, that way people won't have to take responsibility for their actions...

These men are evil, it has nothing to do with God they made their own evil decisions.  As for the young women who endured such terrible torture their prayers were answered and incredibly they made it through.  I hope given time they are able to heal from their trauma.You can't take away from them the one thing they have, the one hope they had that got them through - their faith.

If supposedly these men are evil and even if it has nothing to do with God. Does God know these act of cruelty is been carried out? If not, then he is not all knowing. If so and doesn't want to help out these poor women, then he is not all loving. If he wanted to help but can't then he isn't all powerful. 

Isn't it great their prayers were finally answered according to you. You're never going to be able to heal from a trauma like this. Sometimes death is kinder than what they went thru. 

Can I ask what faith has got to do with this?

People do think for themselves. Not everybody goes around saying things (good or bad) that happen are God's plans. (I don't). So you made this thread pointed at a select few?

Well it really does matter if there's a God or not. If you believe God is all -loving, all- knowing and all powerful. How do you reconcile with that definition of God and his nature when something so evil, so tragic, so heinous is allowed to happen. 

These women were tied up, placed on dog chains repeatedly raped and abused, over and over again for 10 years while heaven watched. 

What did I hear today? "thank God their prayers were answered." Well, if it wasn't for God it could've been another 20 years. 😐 Maybe that was the point they were trying to make.

Just, as a total non believer (who respects all believers rights to their faith), I only see Evil in mankind, and Good in mankind, and when bad things / good things happen I believe it is either force of nature or actions of man.

Too one sided for me to really have replied the way I did now I think of it and did not really understand the full reason for your OP.

This is sickening. If those women could read this thread I think it would add to their trauma.

Try to imagine suffering years of abuse and wondering if you would come out of it alive.

Against the odds you survive and are rescued then some numpty opens a senseless and frivolous thread about you in a popular site.
