the last 10 years??
So are we allow to thank God that these women are finally found?
I hear that God will make it up to these women for their pain and suffering when they die. Sounds great doesn't it?
These girls prayed and prayed everyday for the past 10 years while the abductors raped and abused them repeatedly, I guess their prayers are finally answered right?
If God gives us freewill, then does that mean he can't help us or ever intervene?
If this was all part of God's plan, doesn't it sound a bit sick to you?

How do you know that God didn't put things in their paths this entire time to attempt to show the captors the error of their ways ? To entice them to turn their lives around ? Perhaps the intention all along was to kill these girls, perhaps God stopped that ? Doesn't it tell you something that these girls didn't turn from their Faith during their ordeal ?
I know, from my experience, God starts (metaphorically) throwing little pebbles at you, to get your attention. As you "don't get it" or miss the message, the pebbles get bigger. Sometimes it takes a hit to the head with a brick to finally get it.
God doesn't change the will of man, but He does show himself and leaves the choice to man.

I think this kind of thinking is what is worrying bob enough to create a thread like this.

Didn't you post this on the US board today Bob?
It was quite interesting to read how the US Soapboxers took on the question compared to us.

They are referring to him as a "suspect", to me the word suspect means they are not sure he did it. Surely there must be a better word to call him. The DNA and the child born out of rape and still they calling him "suspect". WTF is this.

They have to keep calling him a suspect until all evidence is gathered as I understand it.

Believe it or not I was shaking my head in disbelief when I first read that post. She's going all out to justify God's actions. This is the exact same type of reasoning why people fly planes into building or strap a bomb to themselves. God's will.
