What would Australia/Gondwana be like today if it had not been colonised by Britain?

Who would have colonised this country?  The Dutch? The French? The Portuguese  Or maybe Indonesia? or?

What would it be like under one of these other countries

Here we go again. This is not all about some on here who try to manipulate a perfectly good thread and turn it into a political diatribe.

The insults hurled at our PM, who will be the best friend Indiginous Australians will ever have.

Many on these boards are totally fed up with the angst caused by some and making it all about themselves.

Yes we get that  get you feel aggrieved, even after over 200 years, we get it.

I wonder what this country would be like if the Andorrans got here first, would they miss the mountains. How would they manage to till the land and feed themselves because there would be no duty free and tourism here then.

Where did the Andorrans originally come from? We all come from somewhere originally. Africa or Arabia maybe.

What would Australia be like if a truly barbarous peoples took it over, the mongols for instance, or the romans? although the romans occupied England for a very long time and did a lot of good there, lifting the people out of the dirt, aquaducts for water and lots of other improvements to human habitation.

Many races have occupied many countries since time began. It is still happening, see Ukraine and Crimea.
