What would Australia/Gondwana be like today if it had not been colonised by Britain?
Who would have colonised this country? The Dutch? The French? The Portuguese Or maybe Indonesia? or?
What would it be like under one of these other countries
What would Gondwana be like if it hadnt been colonised?

What would this country be like if the Hawaiians colonised it. Would we have hula dancers? and what about the Mai Tais?? would they be our national drink instead of beer?

Australia probably has been colonised by many races before the Aboriginal race, millennium have passed.
So we are all part of the great Australian race and nowhere, ever, should there be a racist slant on who should be here. We are all Australians.
The social cohesion of our great country does not revolve bitterness, hate and racism, never should one race try to impose their will on another.
In a perfect world we all want peace, happiness, fairness and health and Australia goes a long way in achieving that.

The insults hurled at our PM, who will be the best friend Indiginous Australians will ever have.
Many on these boards are totally fed up with the angst caused by some and making it all about themselves.
Yes we get that get you feel aggrieved, even after over 200 years, we get it.

You support a PM and declare him as being the best friend of Indigenous Australians.
that by my posting about the facts past and present of my Country ..you assume I am Indigenous and insinuate that I should not speak about my own Government ,my Country's history and that if I do I must be an agrieved Indigenous Australian who should more or less get over it as it's been 200 years.
Incredible

It's also a little odd that some seem to think that nothing has happened for 200 years, maybe a brush up on our countries history would help....below might help and there is plenty more.
But voting rights for Aboriginal people were cut back in the first half of the 20th century after Federation and when Australia introduced the ‘White Australia’ policy. Legislation specifically excluded “any aboriginal native of Australia, Asia, Africa, or the islands of the Pacific, except New Zealand” from voting unless they were already on the roll before 1901 [5].
Worse still, electoral officials had the power to decide who was an “aboriginal native” and who was not which led to arbitrary decisions depending if an Aboriginal person lived like a white person or not.
The term “Stolen Generations” is used for Aboriginal people forcefully taken away (stolen) from their families between the 1890s and 1970s, many to never to see their parents, siblings or relatives again. Because the period covers many decades we speak of “generations” (plural) rather than “generation”.
Many Aboriginal people whose wages were stolen were also stolen children, denying them cultural and economic futures.
The majority of Australians have yet to acknowledge the “evident link between settlement life, stolen wages and the lack of education and employment in today’s society” [16]. How are Aboriginal people to become successful workers and businessmen when they are locked into a cycle of poverty?

What would Australia be like if the Italians had colonised it?
Would we be imbued with magnificent syle and eclat? would our favourite drink be expresso? How about the architecture of Italy, possible the most beautiful in history.
