Would they have got away with not answering questions on Asylum Seekers?
Do you think this silencing is having the opposite effect with the media? Even some of the right wing media appears to be getting a little impatient.
Do you believe the Government when they say their policies are working? What makes you believe them? Are the fudging statistics of boat arrivals?

It's working....well I can definitely smell something anyways ??? and I have checked my Solomon's
so I know it's not me.
The (polite) mushroom theory of management must have been a Rhodes course??
“Well, first they cultivated us;
then they kept us in the dark;
then they fed us a lot of dung;
and then they canned us.”

I am in 2 minds on this; i actually think that boat with 100 people on board, arriving to seek asylum should not be making headlines. Boats full of refugees, thousands of them, are arriving at all different destinations around the world every day. But considering that the LNP has made it into such a huge issue, and the "stop the boats" was the most important election promise, then YES every failure to stop a boat is very newsworthy.

what an excellent topic.... When Labor was in power........ . they were a monumental failure and got voted out and will remain in the political wilderness for a decade or more
