Now that it is being encouraged by our Government
Have the rules changed or just the repercussions?
Didn't that German war criminal encourage dobbing?

Actually it reads.....When is being a dobber ok. Do you agree with dobbing on workmates for posting personal opinions on social media? Either you believe in free speech or you don't?

As far as free speech goes, I don't believe that the government should dictate to an employee whether or not they can express an opinion and an opinion is different to slander. If you were in any other industry and you slandered your employer I have no doubt they wouldn't be impressed and you would be spoken to. But then that's different to having an opinion or expressing a view. So it would depend on the manner in which someone did that. Personally I would ignore it.
If you are talking about dobbing someone in for a crime in the work place or for abuse or rape or whatever else was mentioned in that post. You would weigh up the facts and make a moral decision based on what you believe is right.
In fact I made one the other day in my view it was a serious breech that had the ability to put others at risk. I could have turned a blind eye but it wouldn't have benefited the people involved and may have caused harm to clients or others in the workplace. But again you would weight up the severity of the issue or the problem and make a decision based on the facts and risk. etc There are some things that should always be reported especially when you are aware a crime has been committed. So even though we don't like to dob there are occassion when dobbing is necessary to protect the wellbeing of others or to uphold the law.
I don't think anyone makes decisions lightly or dobs lightly without considering the consequences for all involved but in the end most make a moral decision based on what they believe is right.
