When will power prices go down?

After the Carbon Tax is removed, I am curious how long I will have to wait before electricity prices and even the costs for other services that were apparantly raised, due to the carbon tax , all go down?

Will the cost of living go back to being affordable?

mine never went up.  i haven't paid any more for electricity over the past 3 years.  always about $300-350 per quarter.

That rate per unit might have gone up vampire, but you may be using less power. That is how it effects me anyway.. the rates definitely went up... but power bill is same.. using less units.
