Erm, England. Where I still am, incidentally. No, not very exotic as someone said - well we haven't got waving Palm trees, white sandy beaches, and clear blue, warm seas - however, I suppose it's a bit like the Curate's egg - good in parts. 8.15 am here, and a nice sunny morning. If we're lucky, it might last all day.

Let's see. Mongrel mix really
My first Aussie ancestor came in chains in 1825 from Scotland -
age 17 - 7 years transportation. Landed Sydney
Another lot came from England 1853, arrived Melbourne
One of this lot married a chinese guy who came for the gold rush
in Victoria, arriving also in 1853 coincidentally.
We've been in Victoria since then.
I married an Aussie born Polish/German so it's more mixed
for my daughter and grandkids

nothing very exciting to report here. my ancestors were Scottish and Welsh. I was born here as were my parents.
