Well I have just been shopping and all the Colgate toothpaste that I looked at comes from Thailand.
It would be great if others posted examples of products and where they come from as I am sure there are plenty of surprises out there.
I know I have plenty more to add

Fake fruit in China leaves sour taste for Aussie growers
By business reporter Simon FrazerPosted about 3 hours ago
Chinese counterfeiters have diversified from fake designer handbags to fruit, trying to pass off Chinese grown produce as Australian.
Citrus Australia says the fraudsters are trying to cash in on high prices and rapidly growing demand, with about 18,000 tonnes of mandarins and oranges exported to China last year.
Not sure, I thought they were talking about oranges in Australian shops which were marked Australian but were not.

I have a special cloth to clean fruit and veg after rinsing them. I don't grow anything now as I find the cost of water negates the savings.
Some gardening including growing vegies is a bit like renovating. Good fun and easy until you get old, then it becomes difficult, then just very hard work, very tiring, and hard on the body. Eventually, simply not worth it. There are other things then which use up all your time and energy.
I always wash f & v also. What is your special cloth, Azure?

Vegie & Fruit Cloth from Norwex. Green, 2 sided, rough one side and smooth on the other, removes wax dirt and debris and polishes. I think it was about $15 but have used it daily for about 2 years and no sign of wear.
Love it.

Vegie cloth sounds good, az. Good to clean wax of apples. I wish they wouldn't put it on them in the first place.
