My sister had white crimpalene (sp?) hot pants with an overskirt arrangement that she wore with white lace up, knee high boots. I couldn't wait to get old enough to be allowed to wear such a fantastic outfit

anyone remember 'Beefies' in Granville? That was where all the 'guys' and 'chicks' with their hot cars used to hang out in my day.
and the brickworks? Not that I have been there of course, but, I understand that blokes with hotted up cars used to frequent that site for 'drag' racing.
even after the powers-that-be put poles across the entrance, it is rumoured that people used to 'lift' their cars over the poles and still run their drags.

After a night at Beethovens or Gobbles then it had to be Pizza from Toto's.

that place was SO funny...... all these guys with their hotted up and sometimes illegal cars - and who came around from the rear of Beefies after their free meals? And who ignored all the cars as they left Beefies?
