Christianity
....for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
What goes around comes around.
For every action there is a reaction.
"science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."

Sometimes religion, concepts, and scientic theories do crossover.

In a way, I agree Boris. You can't prove Karma, or God existence, for that matter.
You can however drop a bowling ball from the roof, and something tangible is bound to happen.
Even science is ever changing though.

I don't disagree that there are similarities with some things.
What I disagreed with early on is that if I don't disagree with Newton's Third Law of Motion, then I must believe in Karma.

i understand, and even agree with that Steppe.
Karma is based on the principles of cause and affect. Good= good and Bad=Bad
Newton's law could have any number of outcomes to the same action, good or bad.
Even though I can't prove it, I believe in Karma. I don't rely on Karma... ๐

Yes.
And yes, there are no good or bad values, morals assigned to the outcomes with Newton's Third Law of Motion, lol, just laughing that that is what I have to type.
And because it is a religious belief Karma, it requires Faith and absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
But what do you mean you believe in Karma but don't rely on Karma.

Nevermind on that last question, I'm afraid I know what you mean.
I don't believe in Karma and I never rely on Karma, ever.

I'll answer anyway.
I believe that Karma "happens" frequently.
I don't think if I give to a charity, something good will happen to me. I don't rely on something good happening, just because I did something good.
I also don't feel that all bad things happen because someone was bad. I think life has its ups and downs, and all-arounds.
I'm not a Buddhist. I do like many aspects of the religion.
My kids heard the phrase, Oh-oh, Karma, karma, karma, a lot when they were growing up. ๐
