I actually met someone with a science degree today who doesn't believe in evolution and KNOWS that all humans came from Adam and Eve.:O
"Why are there still monkeys today if humans evolved from monkeys?" is a common belief amongst creationists. Who here doesn't know the answer to this?
Who here doesn't think that evolution is the best explanation for all the different living species on Earth today?

I believe in the process of evolution but I believe God provided it .....and used it..... to create all the species in the world. (and that's it from me.)
Yeah, we both agree with the process of evolution then. Why did you say you didn't.
If so humans didn't come from Adam and Eve. And Eve didn't come from Adam's ribs.

We are a complete different species.
Yes I believe in evolution there is too much proof.
We are prolly the fastest growing evolution animal on the earth, just look at how much we have changed over the centuries.
You'd be surprised to know us and monkeys are both primates. Infact there's only less than 2 percent difference in our DNA between us and chimpanzees. If we're dogs us and chimps would still be considered the same species.
Your last statement makes no sense to me. Wanna explain it again.

I read the question as a choice between Evolution or Creationism.

Religious can say that God had a hand in Evolution and the creation of the universe, accepting all the scientific facts that goes with it. Proof of evolution and the big bang is not proof against God. Just proof we can exist without God.

Evolution has nothing to do with Religion!..... Evolution is a complicated process that is based on proof, I can't see how any deity could possibly be involved in that!

My problem is,if we believe in a God that set creation in motion then what Is this entity and how and why is it able to exist?
Clearly it cannot be the patriarchal figure of the Old Testament or the Father figure of Christianity. It has to be something that exists outside of time and space yet can conjure up matter out of nothing. How is this concept more believable than anything put forward by scientists

Agreed. This could be a first.

I thought we all started as a singularity or is that we are all heading to a singularity?
I always get mixed up which way we are going, if only the scientist could agree it would make it easier for me to remember.

I saw a lecture on youtube by Larence Krauss, a theoretical Phycisist. about a universe from nothing. It blew my mind. It's mind blowing to me that empty space as we see it in the universe, with absolutely no single matter in it has so much energy in it and weights something.
Wow.
