Also there are many more issues than the ones he keeps repeating... aged care for one.
Sure he made those points.
But every time he did the worm dived.
In facts by half way through whilst Rudd remained steady at the top of the positive scale, everytime it switched to Abbott, the worm took a dive.
Whilst thw audience were undecided at the srat of the prgram (and that clearly showed in the way they rated) by the end, Rudd was clearly the winner for them.

Well it looks like Tony Abbot's dignity & sincerity wins out time after time. The Rudd polly waffle lost him the debate. He looked pudgy & bloated, under pressure & lied about the GST & Nauru.
All polls are sliding for Rudd & the Labor party.

How strange that 7 says Abbott won and the rest say Rudd did.
Rudd seemed to know the topics and Abbott seemed to repeat the same old slogans over and over. From what I saw Rudd came out on top.

It wasn't a debate, it was more like a press conference. An election debate should have some more candidate to candidate interaction.

I was not watching, but I was listening to it. Abbott performed better than I expected him to, but still made so many totally ridiculous statements. Like that if the mining boom is ending it is the ALP fault - really? Is it that ALP fault that China is moving into a different phase of development, that they are investing heavily in alternative sources of energy, implementing CO2 tax? of-course, we need to diversify to safe guard our future.
as i did not watch I did not see who is reading from notes, but came across this pic:

On 14 February 2008, the Seven Media Group and Foxtel officially signed an agreement allowing Seven's digital signal to be transmitted via Foxtel's cable and satellite services. Seven became available on Foxtel in Early 2009.

The worm is not accurate accordiing to some sources....and that would seem right IMO. By the time it's activated and updated the moment has passed? One would need to hear the whole question and whole answer before deciding which way to slide?
The same was said last time, and the time before.

SN, like yourself I did not watch "The Debate". However, in the interests of balance (and research) I thought I would add to what willl be a partisan bleat-fest.:
"Kevin Rudd has been accused of cheating during Sunday night's leaders' debate because he used notes when he spoke"
on 12-08-2013 10:17 AM
As they both clearly had pen and paper why is only one accused of cheating?
