Who'll Be Watching Ja'mie in Private School Girl Tonight?

IT'S been described as "confusing" and "possibly illegal" but Ja'mie of Summer Heights High fame has gone ahead and done her first men's mag shoot.

The Private School Girl star has posed in a "world exclusive" for Zoo, raunching it up in her uniform and long socks.

Chris Lilley, the man behind the character says he was shocked at how good the final shots were.

"I didn't know how it would look to be honest," he told news.com.au, "but when I went over and looked at the test shots, I was like 'that is insane'.

"I got a really good reaction from all the staff at the mens mag too - they were really into it, they could not stop laughing."

Without wanting to appear like too much of a professional glamour model, Lilley said he - sorry Ja'mie - nailed the shot in just five minutes and there was very little touching up done to the pictures, with just a bit of armhair being airbrushed out.

"I basically just slipped into the tight-fitting uniform got pre-wet and then sprayed down and oiled up, there was a bit of leg shaving and make-up work before, but I just had to commit to being hot.

"I somehow knew what poses to do and because Ja'mie believes she's hot, it's easy to fall into the illusion of it.

"It must have been all that time practicing her selfies", he said

Yep, that's what I'm not a fan of.  In many ways it's just an attack on teenaged girls.  Just an excuse to send them up, belittle them, mock and humiliate them by a creepy man old enough to be their father...  Yuck, el cretinilley!

Also the fact that his face is this dead mask, there is no spark in his eyes or smile, and I find it very hard to believe that anybody would find Ja'mie even slightly attractive, does not matter how much she flashes her boobs and other parts at them.

watched it, liked it.  think it is an interesting comment on society.  yes it is cringeworthy it is meant to be.  i don't doubt that it is probably a pretty fair representation of some young women today and might make some young women and parents take a good look in the mirror.

Such is life.

Maybe if Ja'mie was happy sometimes the show would be more enjoyable however I do feel that the character is heading towards a great fall from grace so maybe everyone will wise up to the bully they have chosen for school captain.

With regard to men hitting on teenage girls, I think the way some young women behave when they're drunk and the style of clothes they wear would have a large bearing on that as well.

Strongly disagree, icy.

I think that they way some young men behave when they're drunk has a lot to do with the culture they have been raised in.

Our obsession with sport and the "heroes" of sport is often to blame. Rough, tough, boozing, fighting, misogynist,  blokey culture,

avidly absorbed by the young men and role-modelled by them, has a lot to do with the way they treat women.

We need to move away from teaching young men such socially destructive ways of thinking and acting-out the bad example of

what currently passes for "culture" in this country.

I am not talking about the show being enjoyable, I was talking about the character being more believable.  Who on earth would like this sour face stuck up **bleep** enough to elect her as prefect?  As far as Ja'mie heading for a fall that is very obvious, and predictable as what is going to go wrong, which is another reason why I am not interested watching it.

OMG! it bleeped out the word ABC used to advertise this program!  The bleep is back    LOL

Fair enough.

Same goes for the girls.

Have you seen news footage of Friday and Saturday night revels in Sydney lately? The drunken parading and street brawling engaged in by girls as well as young men?

That's equality for you.

Agree we need to teach young men against destructive behaviour, but true equality means we should be teaching the young women as well.

Yes, we should teach both to be responsible.

Not teach the girls that if they get drunk it's their own fault if they get raped.

Was Jill Meagher to blame for her murder?

I think both young women and young men should be able to party and be safe from attack.

It is not matter of blame.  But would you say that we should not teach kids that if they put themselves in danger it is their fault when they get hurt?  Lets say if they ride their bikes in dangerous manner, train surf, or dive into river not knowing what is under the water.  What would you say to kid who thinks it is their right to swim in shark infested waters?

Anyway, telling kids of both sexes that they have a right to get legless is just so wrong.  World is never going to be 100% safe place, we always have to protect ourselves and if person is almost unconscious they are helpless.  Girls have to be told that while it makes a great slogan, we will never "own the night".  Never did and never will, because there will always be men like Adrian Bayley lurking somewhere.  And of-course, there is a big difference between man like Bayley and drunken teenager who misread signals from also drunken girl.

I think we should teach the both genders to drink responsibly, in moderation and to look after each other when out partying. Both genders need to be taught the risks, not only girls.

We should not teach girls that they are to blame if they do get raped and that they should feel ashamed if they do.
