Re: Whooping cough spike

I don't understand their reasoning either.
Sure, the injection may hurt or the medicine tastes vile but surely that is better than the whooping cough, measles, polio etc.

nothing is 100% garanteed but you dont not do something like a vax because it might not work, you do it in hope it protects your children and other children.

people buy tickets to fly to london but the airline cant garantee 100% to get there, but people still buy the tickets 🙂

i believe you did the right thing, the vax not the ticket lol

I totally agree, that's why all my children were vacc'ed, just was surprised that they still caught measels. Maybe thye vacc's are a bit more protective these days

did you ever discuss it with your doctor? maybe there was a bad batch of vax's or something.

i'm very glad i was given every vax available when growing up and have never had any bad reactions or contracted any diseases i was vaxed against.

i did get chicken pox when i was a 5 thanks to my cousin lol

Re: Whooping cough spike

I don't know

Having said that, I was done for everything (I've seen my vax card, back in the day when they had those blue cradboards ones in NSW)

Got everything as a kiddie all the same

I have a very vivid memory of having measles and being face down over my grandmother's lap having a fit while my mother was calling 000. I would have been now more than three years old and remember pasing out

Whooping cough took me three years to get over. Utter hel...................lo

Vacc's were done in Sydney and we were living in Melb when the children contracted measles. Plus they are 22 months apart in age, so they would have been vacc'ed at different times. They were both VERY ill, so would hate to think what would have happened if they hadn't been vacc'ed
