It's beyond belief that some people accuse Labor members of going into parliament as a get rich quick scheme and for their own personal gain.
It would be easier and pay rewards more quickly to join the corporate sector and trample over others to reach the top and they'd earn more.
But no, they work hard on the ground to earn their endorsement. They volunteer their time to help current members. They wait and learn. They do fight for what they believe in just like those in the greens do or the Nationals do or the Liberals do.
The claim that all Liberals and Nationals are honourable decent people hardworking people, all greens are hippies who hug trees & don't have jobs, or all Labor members are corrupt criminals is insane.
