The leftties are obsessed with boats and they  want Australia to be an open border that is over run with boats and ILLEGAL imigrants it seems as seen on here on a  daily basis from the left and far left leaning people.

Why do the left want more and more of these people invading our country? 

Why do the lefties want more and more boats coming?

Why do the left want more people drowing at sea?

Seems rather odd to me that the left have so little regard for our borders and laws and want open flood gates on boat people invading our country.

Nero, I think what you are trying to get at is why the usuals on here have suddenly become so interested in illegal immigration when they stayed quiet through all the tragedies & failures Labor visited on us.

They stayed quiet when we witnessed people being dashed on the rocks & children dying on TV no less.  A picture that is still in my mind, very disturbing.There was no outpouring of criticism of Gillard and her party.

They stayed quiet when Rudd initiated the PNG solution & said no illegal immigrant will ever get to stay in Australia.

They are now the champion of anything that even smells of criticism of the present government's efforts to stop this shocking trade. They are now hyper to get any morsel of anything to wedge the operation that has turned out to be a stunning success in such a short time when Labor failed to do anything for 6 years & thousands died.

They have forgotten that it was Labor's decision to dismantle our border protection policy & they crowed about it. How soon they all forget but "you know what?" Australians will NEVER forget.

Kevin07 didn't stop the boats, he couldn't stop them. Julia couldn't stop them either. The new kevin still couldn't stop them when he came back but the good news is Tony Abbott has STOPPED the boats! The illegal invasion of our sovereignty has come to an end. 

At long last, finally, the people smugglers are out of business.

Easy to do, you wont drown. All you have to do is apply.

Boats coming here without authority must be stopped. We can't allow people smugglers to decide which people are allowed to immigrate to Australia. That is a job for the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.

People smugglers don't do background checks, police criminal record checks etc... on boat people. Our government does that and they shall decide who comes here.

Good and neither do I BUT why are you in favour and so supportive of ILLEGAL boat people and the flood of bopats coming out of Indonesia?

The more boats that come the more chances that people will drown at sea.

So why are you so supportive of that and the open border policy of the failed Labor/Green govt

 Why are  not supporting the LNP in their effort to curb this dangerous flood and save peoples lives and to stop the drownings?

Or do you favour a totally open border policy that allows thousands and thousands just to flood into our country

 Kevin Rudd in 2013 on Q&A admitted that 1 in 13 boat people drowned under his watch and his failed border policy......
