Why don't dentists have fish tanks anymore?

Maybe I don't get around enough but my children have never been to a dentist with fish tanks and I think they have missed out

Donna,  when I was a child our dentist had a fish tank 

The fact that he was a cruel sadist made no difference to his lovely fish!

(I still have a dentist phobia about 50 years on  )

Asked my dentist if they had ever had a fish tank.

She said, yes but the fish were traumatised by the drill, so they sold them, tank and all, to a patient.

After all, noone had done any fact finding as to why the fish disappeared!


They were carp, so edible. She thinks that might have been their fate 😞
