Why don't dentists have fish tanks anymore?

Maybe I don't get around enough but my children have never been to a dentist with fish tanks and I think they have missed out

Nope, never seen a fish tank at the dentists. I have been to lots of  dentists in different locations also.

maybe all the fish kept dying from fear of the dentists, they scare me to near death.

When I was growing up in the 60'd, the Dentist had one of those oil lamps where the globules rise and fall....can't look at one without shuddering.
