I am really, really offended by the greeting Happy Holidays because I am too poor to go on a holiday so they are making my life miserable by constantly reminding me of my poorness.

Thank you everybody for your input about my question,"Why is eBay using the greeting "Happy...............................................".
Actually, when I asked the question I didn't realise that Thanksgiving was only a couple of days away and I agree with the first person to
respond, spotweldersfriend, whose reply was Thanksgiving.
I agree that the five day period which encompasses Thanksgiving probably should be a Happy Holidays greeting. However, now that those holidays are over, we look forward to the holidays associated with Christmas. So from now until after Boxing Day, the appropriate greeting is "Happy" or "Merry" Christmas.

Its not the muslims. Muslims sending there children to a muslim school do not celebrate christmas but For the many muslims I know they all allow there children to take part in celebrations.
My two female muslim friends that work in a childcare centre do more christmas activities with the kids than anyone I have ever seen.
My ex boyfriend who is a muslim came to christmas at my house last year. He had presents for all the kids that were ther. He wished everyone a merry christmas and joined in with our celebrations.
Most of the time its white people sitting in an office worried they will offend so just in case they change things to be politicaly correct.

"When life gives you lemons.
Squeeze them into people's eyes"
Whatever turns you on BBH, but I prefer: "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" or: when life gives you lemons, use them for making martinis.

i got 2 bags of lemons/limes from my MIL after I told her that they were $2 each in coles.
I discovered that you can use alot of them up by pickling sardines.
