You are right about eating camels, horses etc. If it's a matter of life or death, we would eat anything in order to survive. It's our natural survival instinct that compels us to do that.

There is a true old Chinese saying which when translated into English goes like this. 'Any living beings that walks with it's back towards the sun are/were put on earth by the Gods for human consumption'. I can't see any valid arguments on that. 

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 China has passed a new legislation banning the consumption of dogs. Will that be strictly adhered to? Your guess is as good as mine.
