What rot !!! Nowhere in that article does it say that anyone was banned from anything. what it does say that the candidate was does not have authority to comment. it is most likely that the candidate had no desire to attend and that was an easy out.
I do wish that people would read what is written instead of making assumptions to suit their own agenda.

Well if the candidate did not want to attend, shows how much he thinks of the electorate and the voters who live there. I would think any opportunity to speak to the electorate would be a good thing.

hahaha... more lies...
The candidate will decided what he or she does.. and they do not have to report to the "head office" to approve their campaigning.
Andrew is very avaliable to the public... he is working hard every single day to win his seat....

Incorrect.
The do actually need to "report" to head office and request permission.
The very last page of the Liberal Party Constitution as it applies to candidates makes it clear that they are not allowed to make any public statements either orally or written. Nor are they allowed to create any web pages, blogs, on line campaigns or social media generally.
They can only do so after permission from the State Director of the Liberal Party.
If they breach these rules they are liable for a 5 year suspension.
