  • New book  Flight MH370: The Mystery claims the plane was shot down accidentally and its  tracks covered up
  • Author  Nigel Cawthorne

Yep...Nigel Cawthorne. A prolific writer, but not exactly known for his veracity.

Wikipedia, (amongst others), had this to say on Cawthorne...

"Cawthorne has received much criticism for his lack of primary sources. Furthermore, many reviews of his true crime and history books claim that he replicates much of the text entirely from already existing material, such as archived newspaper articles and other secondary sources. His book on the murder of Tia Sharp was especially criticised for doing so. Several reviewers have called him a "copy and paste" author. Many of his books are compilations of popular history, without footnotes, references, or bibliographies."

Here's a link to his works. One wonders at his supposed breadth and depth of knowledge, given the variety of subjects!

Sounds like that other one, Mr Geoffrey Thomas (Aviation expert) NOT, who appears on Channel 7 and Sunrise

and writes for various pieces of media.

funny that you two posters are not attacking my last post which stated:

USS COWPENS SHOT DOWN MALAYSIAN FLIGHT 370 MARCH 8 2014

A wide gulf continues to separate China and the United States and future encounters of naval vessels and military aircraft in and over the South China Sea could result in further mishaps.

The US and USSR / Russia have an agreement about how to "approach each other", by sea and air.

Still doesn't stop Russian ships ramming US ships.

Same with China which they also have an agreement with, doesn't mean their won't be "clashes".

I haven't read enough on Cowpens to comment at the moment.

V3000 I would not bother following up on the ridiculous and totally lacking in understanding/sympathy posts  regarding this tragic event from P007.

The  posts stem  from someone with no aeronautical expertise or technical knowledge,   who believes that aircraft  condensation trails are secret evil chemical sprays (in broad daylight),  and HAARP (HF ionospheric transmissions) are weather manipulation experiments.

I have written it before P007, let the 370 flight rest in peace, because your uneducated  conspiracy suggestions as to what happened are wholly  insensitive and offensive.
