It's really great to know that your life is going so well, Georgia, but if you have a three year old from a previous relationship,then this new one can rardly be classed as long-term yet, and  it is perhaps a little early to be crowing about your achievement,

When you have been married for fifty years to the same wonderful man, have five children, ten grandchildren and a great grandson, then maybe you will be entitled to feel just a teensy bit smug -  plus there will be no shortage of family to care for you in your dotage.

I don't either really. The more one encourages people like this to post the more they shoot themselves in the foot. (imo only).
