Will Labor be banished throughout the land?... YES but they and their small band of supporters will still not get the message
Only once before has the ALP been exiled from office nationwide. This time the dry spell could be a lot more testing.
With the exception of a small oasis in the Australian Capital Territory, as of this weekend it looks highly probable that the ALP will be consigned to opposition throughout the land. T
he likely defeat of Jay Weatherill's government in South Australia and Lara Giddings' government in Tasmania will leave Labor languishing out of office federally and in all of the states.

Wall-to-wall anything is not healthy. That's why it goes in cycles. People realise that it is not healthy, and one by one the states change back. It has always been so.

ONLY once before in 1969..... so there isnt "a cycle" as you have put it.... Australis are FED up with labor and the greens
And yes it is a time to celebrate,,, The majority of Australians will be happy, the very small minority of left and labort will not be
It's taken the libs only 45 years! I wonder why. Nothing to celebrate there.

Wall to wall carpet is pretty comfy, instead of a patchwork of tiles and carpet 🙂

I admire nero for sticking it out on here and at least having the courage of his/her convictions.
I don’t admire the concerted snipes and derision aimed at him /her.
what I really do not get is if you are offended or angered by what he /she posts why come in and pour scorn or gang up.
l see plenty of political threads that I do not enter simply because they are shallow pollie bashing name calling threads that don’t interest me or someone pushing an agenda that has been done many times over.
These political threads could be more educational rather than adversarial. Just a thought
10 posters or thereabouts and half disagree with the other half (app) is ganging up? I actually prefer to read debate that has some interesting facts in it but we don't see much of that here anymore and I do believe most posters don't participate to educate themselves about politics, there are better and more dedicated educational opportunities.
