I heard on radio this morning that Geoff Shaw is refusing to stand down, He resigned his position as liberal party member for Frankston and became an independant who holds the balance of power for the Napthine Govt.

Also.. I heard on the radio that the State will go to an early election... not a by election... as the next election is not that far away.

and Tony Abbott was let off after paying back the expenses he charged tax payers ..expenses which were in relation to his own book.

The false claims also included swims, pollie pedal, visits to outback missions. he claimed it all and his PR people claimed he was doing something charitable. PR disguised as charitable works you also claim expenses for. disingenuous is the word.

actually it is related..
you could be forced into an early election because of a charge against an MP. It is the same incident that Gillard was in where her car was used for business purposes.
I just wonder why the difference when one MP gets charged yet another does not?
