But what the heck is going on with some of the male speed skaters?
The front of some of their costumes is very odd looking.

Is nobody else taking a quick look at the broadcast?
There's been some spectacular crashes.

I like watching the skaters, last night watched a 15yr russian girl, gee she was good.
I wish I could do it, but I would break my neck.

She was very good and made it look so easy.

I guess she has had a lot of practice, probably been doing it since she was really young.
It did look easy, I thought she may slip up on all the jump twists she was doing, but no, she did a wonderful job.

Cool, I didn't see much of it today.
Three young Aussies are about to take their turn snow boarding in the half pipe heat.

Took a look last night. When did EXTREME Sports get the go ahead?
I don't like the snowboarding using metal rails at the beginning of those downhill events.
And then there is the similar event using skis!! Stupid, stupid. It hurts me to watch them even.
The other day a girl fell on the ski field and smashed her helmet. Are those helmets designed to crumple?
I watched some figure skating where the young American girl did so well (with harp music) absolutely beautiful.
The pairs in skating will never erupt the fervor in me of Torvill and Dean from years ago.

As Deb said EXTREME sports.
I love the Winter Olympics but some of the sports are dare devil style. I can't seem to look away except for when they kept replaying
the snowboarder who cracked her helmet and appeared limp for a few seconds. Thankfully she seemed ok straight after the tumble ended.
