I have just put in a job application and shown my age.
Now even getting a reply, let alone getting an interview will be like winning lotto.
Oh, BTW I am 69.
Totally fed up with retirement, why anyone wants it is beyond me.

Are you just bored with being at home, or is it the money aspect ?
Don't mean to sound nosey. If it's just boredom, volunteering locally
to do something that interests you might be the ticket.
But Good Luck whatever happens

Volunteering also requires a police check. Hope there's no skeletons

Good for you. I can't muster up that much enthusiasm to get back out there.
Was glad to see the tail end of it.
If you're that enthusiastic then they'd be idiots not to hire experienced people like yourself.

Jean, any employer that read your last post would be falling over themselves to hire you. Good luck.
