The Pauls vanilla bean custard is beautiful but I always make me own for a trifle because I like it to be super thick and set well.

i have a paper tin of custard powder and don't know what to do with it.
also the thickened cream leaves me puzzled. what do you do with that stuff? why would you want gelatine in your cream?
i went to a foodland some time ago and they didn't even stock normal cream (that is JUST cream with no funny stuff in it like gelatine).
