I have been trying to find information on how people recover from Corvid-19 - i mean at a biological process level
Seems a search engine fixation on how to catch the disease , how many die , what to do to reduce infection but nothing on how the body defeats the SARS-CoV-2 virus
Anyone out there had any luck in finding any information ?

BTW Icy, I read the article about drinking water too. I think it was a Japanese doctor who proposed the idea. It is therefore possible that he is also into alternative medicine, as well as medicine. Water is a big deal in many alternative medicine approaches. Who knows, maybe catching some of the bugs on the way in and flushing them into the stomach may reduce the severity of the illness.

Yes. Water is essential to life.

I think that's the general idea.

How about this for an idea?
Everybody just stay home.
If no-one goes out, there's no need for water sipping, disinfecting every surface or keeping distances from anybody.
It couldn't be any simpler really.
And that's what everybody is being told.
But it seems a lot aren't listening.
It's not gunna sneak under the door and get you.
And then, we're just 3 weeks away from knowing Icy's true hair colour.

They have lost control - the cruise ship issue has not helped with credibility

As I understand it, the virus is mostly transmitted from the hand to the mouth and nose. Hence the need to wash hands often and thoroughy.
From there it would enter the lungs via the trachea, as it would also, if inhaled.
However, frequent sips of water would flush the virus down the oesophagus and into the stomach, before it could make it's way to the the lungs.
Gastric acids in the stomach would destroy the virus.
I haven't heard or read anything about the virus entering the bloodstream. That's a new one on me.
It's a respiratory virus.
Ok, now I get what you are saying. But viruses multiply quickly and many would enter the mouth or nose. I doubt drinking water would catch them all.
Probably not, but it could make the difference between being very sick or making a quick recovery.
Re the bloodstream; have you heard some people are dying because the virus has travelled to the vital organs? Guess how they got there?
I give up! How?
😂😂 LOL... through the bloodstream would be a pretty good guess

The phrase "dog with a bone" springs to mind...

That idea works well in theory ..... Not everyone has the luxury of being able to order their groceries online or has someone to PU their prescriptions, mail etc etc ... Nor do they have the $$$ to stock up on food or other essential items, many people live week to week or F/N to F/N
Nothing wrong with being ultra clean in your home at anytime .....

Except that you end up with no immune system.
