Woman who blackmailed couple over photos of dying child appeals against jail sentence
i think she got what she deserved
but (theres allways a but)
in todays 'its not my fault im a bad person' world
i fully expect the jail term to be reduced a lot

Disgusting woman. She deserves a life sentence. I hope they increase it on appeal.

This woman would have to be evil. There are many habitual criminals, robbers, fraudsters, burglars that wouldn't even have a glancing thought to do such a thing.
This bloody woman needs to be jailed. It's a pity that Singapore type Justice is not implemented here. In addition to a custodial sentence, this perverted woman deserves the rattan across the back 100 times.

If you really had any idea of ' Singapore ' Justice - I am quite sure you wouldn't want it here.

We do need tougher justice though, this country is so freaking lax, especially with upholding sentences.
Seems if you squeak loud enough the judges trip over themselves to shorten your prison time.

Excellent. Very well said, Channel.

Is Siti Nurhidayah Kamal in Australia on a tourist visa, as an international student or did she immigrate here? None of the articles on this case seem to broach this very important issue.

Totally agree Kat - but I still don't hold with the ' Firing Squad '.
