Woolworths has axed a major saving point for Everyday Rewards members, the second within a fortnight.

Delivery Unlimited customers will no longer receive double rewards points to their Everyday Rewards accounts from June 1.

Delivery Unlimited is a $15 a month subscription which gave customers free delivery on same day or next day orders of $75 or more.

....

Direct to Boot will also become a complimentary service for members.

“As such we are removing 2x Everyday Rewards points from the program. Instead, customers will receive three months complimentary Direct To Boot Now which offers Direct To Boot pick up in less than 60 minutes. Direct To Boot Now normally costs $5 per order.

....

From next month, Everyday Extra members will no longer be able to claim 10 per cent off their Big W purchases once per month.

Woolies shoppers rage over new reward cut

Why does everything have to be so hard?

A little leeway for the cash strapped shopper would've been nice       *sigh

I have found WW boosters to be uninspiring this year.

I often get "900pts for $110 spent in one or more shops" type booster.  These usually give a 4% to 6% benefit.

I got a "Spend $70 each week for 4wks get 6,000pts" this week.

My wife got "1400pts for $250 spent in one or more shops".  That's $7 benefit on $250 spend.  As a comparison, on my flybuys, I am on wk4 of a "Spend $50/wk for 4 wks for 10,000pts".  That's $50 benefit for $200 spend.

As an aside, I stumbled upon flybuys feature of completing surveys for points.  I have the time to do these, and racked up 30,000 in flybuys points ($150) in April.

Every benefit helps.

I only get very basic boosters, despite shopping at Woolies every day

Very rarely get the x amount of points for spending x amount, and when I do, it is something offensive like 1000 points for a spend of $300 or more in one hit

do you use the Rewards app as well as the WW app?

Some boosts come via the Rewards app only.

No apps, phone not smart enough

Just the online Everyday Rewards account

Using the app, starting this week, I can collect 15,000 points if I spend $160 per week in one or more shops.

First week done with no problem.

But usually they want me to spend about $260 and that ain't gunna happen in one week.

I've found the free 'Xtra Perks' more than useless - a pack of gum or some such trivia.

On top of that they want me to pick it up in person.  They can't chuck it in my shopping when I order?

I'll certainly miss the 2 X points on Everyday Rewards

My daughter was telling me about the removal of teh Big W perk.

It wasn't as if she used it every month but I remember last year in about Nov, we shopped together and I made a big spend on a lot of Xmas presents, and she did as well and the discount was great to get. Very worthwhile.

We were trying to figure out why it has been removed. Maybe Big W is going badly.

There used to be a Big  W at my local shopping centre (Endeavour Hills) but it  closed down years ago and K Mart took over the spot. I actually prefer Big W, not sure why it is doing poorly.
