I've got no idea of the rules  "Offside, onside"???

How many performances will be up for an Academy Award for tripping on shadows;? How many Miracle Recoveries from Injury will we encounter?  How many Ref/Umpire bad decisions will be made?  How many "shirt over the head" celebrations?  Will Les Murray commentate?  Will Mr Frank Lowy attend? Will a ref swallow a whistle?

Does Soccer excite you?  Will you lose sleep?

for me soccer is more interesting to watch and is a skilled gentlemens game compared to any other type of football

in american football, are they bum sniffers too?

Polo or lawn bowls are skilled gentlemens' games...........even the horses don't bite in polo.......and the old codgers on the lawn have no teeth........

An update - 

Brasil  2 - Colombia  1        

Germany  1 - France  0  

Brasil play Germany in semi-final.

Tonight is Argentina v Belgium  and  Netherlands v Costa Rica to decide the other semi-final.

I must be mad or a fanatic....I'll take fanatic *cough-cough....stayed up to watch both.

Argentina v Belgium was a good game but a lil' boring as Argentina had possession most of the match. Good tactics don't always make for enthralling/interesting spectator time.  The Netherlands v Costa Rica game was FANTASTIC!! Full 90 mins of play due to score being 0-0 then further 30 mins with same 0-0 score so we all went into penalty play- which does not happen very often hey?!

Argentina move through. Costa Rica looked very disappointed. Feel for the chap who missed the last chance penalty kick and missed it *yikes.
