Dear dear Annie 

I cant even begin to know or pretend to know what you are going through

I just want you to know im thinking about you , Sarah and your family and im sending you all my love and wish I could just hug you 

I shed tears after hearing this sad news

No sweet you didn't open up any wounds.

Our wounds stay slightly open so that we can be there for those in new grief.

Something that Channy and I have done over the years was to buy a special Christmas ornament for the tree and have it engraved. We also buy a present suitable for a woman of her age and place it under the Woolies tree. We did it for the first Christmas and continued.

I kept as much of her school stuff etc as I could. 

When Channy was 15 and struggling wiith search of self, I showed her the school books etc that her mother 'defaced' with scribble and little poems and pics etc.

Channy said, 'so she really was just a kid, just like me'.

It helped.

I am telling you this now because it is not too early to start.

Same thing green cat. Manic depression is the old name for bipolar.
