Switzerland is the happiest country.

I used to catch the 11, and then have to walk from there, sometimes in that glorious Melbourne weather...
As a friend at the time joked "You catch the number 11 tram, then take the number 11 bus" (pointing at his legs, to clarify).

My sister used to walk from the terminus to the west side of the lake
every night after work - in high heels!
She said "Won't it be great when the line is extended to the lake?"
That was 1959.

Perth is too expensive. I hate to bring politics into it but basic utilities are over the top.
Elderly people can't afford to heat their homes in winter or cool them in summer. More and more people can't cope with the expense of living here.

It is getting very expensive, Melbourne also. Gas bills are set to rocket due to demand versus supply available for us. Our resources should be protected not sold off.

Dont get me wrong I ❤️ Melbourne, have lived there extensively and grew up 55 mins down the Hume. But it is just too expensive now, the price of real estate has skyrocketed over the last decade or so. It's too unaffordable imo.
