Perhaps she gave her all to beat Azarenka and had little left in the bank. Agree with you meep that she didn't even turn up!
Anyone else getting tired of Bruce McAvaney's commentary or is it just me?
p.s. if I am going to criticise him I better get his name almost right at least

Laney, I liked Bruce, but he's getting very boring with his statistics and the same old hum drum.

That's the way it goes.
Should be a great final. I can't pick the winner.
I had to leave to go to the hairdresser, I got such a shock when I returned it was all but over.

I am tired of commentary from the following people: Jim Courier, Bazil Zemplis, Sam SMith, Todd Woodbridge, Roger Rasheed(especially his little coaching sessions on the court), Bruce McAvaney, Renae Stubbs, John Fitzgerald, John Newcombe, Darren Cahill, Nathan Templeton, Wally Masur, Nicole Bradke. They are all in love with their own voices, and keep talking when the players are serving. With tennis commentation, less is more.
I think Hewitt is the best. He knows when to shut up.
EDIT: And the girl who beat Radawanska today will win it. Very talented, and a lot of energy too.

I like Hewitt also, and I don't mind Todd Woody.

I have been loving the tennis but can't take any more of that ad where the two giggling idiots drive into the dam, oh for the water to have been a lot deeper.
Is Bruce McA the twit who keeps talking about the "Grand" Final on Sunday?
What fool calls a tennis final a "grand" final?
Everyone but footballers know that a final is final, nothing grand about it.

HaHaHa Bump, I have the sound turned down so I can't hear the dribble.

Freddie the first rule of watching sport on TV is to have the volume up enough to be annoyed by the inane commentary.
on 24-01-2014 07:52 PM
Freddie? Are you settled in for the big game?
Rafa or Roger?
I think I will have to go with Roger.

I am so fed up with Rafa's blisters, for goodness sake would the umpire just tell him to hold the racquet in his other hand and get on with the game.
