Well, looks like it's going to happen in the next 24 hours or so.  

I think Rudd will get in.  I think it will be all over by tomorrow at the latest.

Looks like there will be a few resignations of important ALP figures.

I agree, Purple ... it's sad ... but I do feel that her actions were responsible for this result.  Her and the men in the background.

hang on.. she lost it in exactly the same way she got it... I think that is pretty fair.

I'd think that Rudd would diminish Shorten's powers in the future.  

ABC News 24 are stating that Penny Wong is the new leader of the Senate.  

I so looooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Penny.  I was saying to my son earlier that she would be a great PM.  

So, goodbye Stephen Conroy.

Albanese will become the new Deputy Leader of the House.

I don't like Wong.. but I do have a fair bit of respect for her... 

she is who she is and has always been the same.. She could be the next female to lead the ALP
