Well, looks like it's going to happen in the next 24 hours or so.
I think Rudd will get in. I think it will be all over by tomorrow at the latest.
What do you reckon?

No worries about that newstart, I don't whinge about anything political because successive Governments can all be seen to have let their citizens down in the past few years no matter which side they're on.
It's all relative .. 😛

Agreed, all I want to see is an HONEST party ( loud laughter ) lead this country out of the terrible mess it is in.
Put forward positive, affordable, realistic policies for ALL Australians and get the budget back into surplus in a reasonable amount of time.
I was not suggesting you in particular, my comment was a general message for anyone who chooses a donkey vote.

I agree with what you have posted newstart, makes good sense.

Just over an hour to go ...
We have Lindt chocolate and cheese and bacon balls, Fleur ... reckon it'll make a good combo?
Newstart ... I think we can agree on what you said ... although I'm not fussed on the surplus.

I am soooo happy I didn't have the late shift tonight.. I would have made them unlock the tv and turn it on for me... ]:)
And I am forever grateful that Gillard allowed me time to get home from work... it was very nice of her to call a 7pm ballot. 😉

I could have done with it being a bit earlier, Cats ... after all the excitement and being awake since 4am, after 5 hours sleep, I'm almost falling asleep. Hence the chocolate 🙂
But, I'm glad you can witness this moment of history.

Aghast, a commentator just suggested Tania Plebasic (Sorry about spelling) might run as the leader of the labor party in the future.
I am still waiting for a reply from her dept when she was minister for human recourses so how could she run a party who is capable of running the country.
