Yayyy, An Earlier Election, Dare We Hope :) Dare We Dream :)

Could we be so lucky :-), can we hope for an end to this agony? Will they get rid of the worst PM in history after Rudd? will they knife the red queen to save themselves? we can only hope.

We can also only hope that Psycho will not be reinstalled, could they be that cruel??

IT'S now a question of how and when Julia Gillard's blighted leadership will end.

Remarkably close to the third anniversary of the removal of Kevin Rudd, Labor MPs seem determined to restore the former leader in the hope he can save their individual seats and the collective parliamentary Labor Party from being shunted to a decade in the wilderness.

Having eschewed Rudd twice in the past because they put their hatred for him above the recognition of the voters' hatred for Gillard, Labor MPs have now been spooked into action.

How they will actually finish a determined Prime Minister is not clear but it will have to be in the next two parliamentary sitting weeks - and unless Gillard agrees to go it will be bloody. Even if she resists, it is clear she cannot last as leader with her "friends" now announcing her demise.

Tony Abbott has Gillard's number but will face a new/old challenge in Rudd. He'll probably also face a new election timetable, which will be to everyone's liking, no matter who they vote for.

So, Australia is the envy of the world, we have low inflation, low unemployment, AAA credit rating from 3 agencies, and so many people are not happy.  Well, just wait when Abbott gets in and starts cutting jobs, services, wages and pensions so his buddies can make even more zillions.  Then he will go and insult even more foreign governments.  Pathetic and sad.

Actually we don't have low unemployment, that's a spin. as an example there is a reported 19% unemployment in the 19 to 25 year age group. casual jobs are not classed as fully employed as the Labor government would like you to believe.

Cutting jobs in the over employed areas such as in the government sector is warranted. the labour government created jobs such as people walking around with clip boards or ipads welcoming people into centrelink.

Actually, do you have any proof that there is now more government jobs than there was under LNP?  I have seen some figures to the contrary.

What do you think that the people who will lose their job will do?  Instead of paying tax, they will claim dole, they will not have any money to spend.  So the government will save a bit on wages, but will have to fork out more for benefits, and it will affect the economy.

It was just a moment of reflection on my psychological snapshot of your recent posts and the subject that you debated for a couple of years. The rest was easy, there is no meeting of minds when there are differences of opinion in two categories. Religion and Politics and to a lesser degree, male female relationships. 🙂

I guess they will have to do some retraining like anyone else. A job is not a god given right it is something you train for and get off your big fat A and find. I have no time for those who are lazy enough to just put out their hand and expect, yes expect the tax payer to support them.

I have no proof other than what I have read so if you have the proof I am happy to listen.

When did she embarrassed this country?

She shone everywhere she went, she managed to create very good working relationships with heads of other countries.  She managed to secure annual talks with China's leaders, which a great privilege  only handful of other countries have .

But of-course, you would not read that in Murdoch press.  They just report sandwiches thrown at her.
