since you bolded it, I think you mean you're.
And no, I have no idea of what you do at Walmart and don't particularly care.

I hope softail-joanie isn't a Walmartian
No, but now that I think about it,they have heat in there and are open all night long. No place to sleep or shower though dratts. lol No, i'm good at the Walmart here, no worries as you might say, It's the one near Columbus Grove City Police have me trespassed from. Least I don't think i'm trespassed from them all, that would be the Kroger stores, even though i can scan my shoppers card at the self checkout and hear, "welcome valued customer" I take that as an invitation. that and they let me get my perscriptions filled there. Also, the Kroger here don't always have people smoking blocking the entrance, that I suspect was the problem at that other store, though they won't admit it, they think i'm gonna call the health department on them, just because i pointed it out at the service desk. If I was gonna do that, I wouldn't have brought that to their attention trying to be helpfull.
Back on the topic-
I've been thinkin about this gun laws issue, and about that funny video someone posted somewhere that made me laugh and still does, Woop tee doo, lol. maybe with a blankin in there. I never did carry guns around or care to, and never have carried them in any public place with the exception of that open carry walk in Youngstown along with around 40 other people. Still, it doesn't bother me at all to see anyone else doing so, so maybe i'm just trying to grasp why others would have a problem with something that really has nothing to do with them. Seems like making a problem where none exists. I don't see America as being all that free and loose with their gun laws. Seems like their heading in the direction of Australia or England. The open carry here is rare, too rare in my opinion, and the concel carry is hard to determine. Though Id be willing to venture, theres more carrying concealed without a permit illeagly, breaking the law, than legal open and conceal carry combined.
In time I suspect most of these people will be found and arrested and lose their guns, America will get there, soon enough, just to put those worried minds at ease. Now they are just targeting certain people, anyone they can throw out a reason to ban them from ownership,it seems to work in incriments. BTW, the people who had their guns taken durring katrina, never got them back yet. I suspect they never will.
I suspect as a result Our gun violence and deaths will go down, it would just about have to with more guns taken and less guns out there, but keep in mind, that's just gun violence, what about the knife, and the guns in the hands of military and law enforcment. think of the hold over the people. just food for thought. But who knows, maybe it will work this time, be for the better.
Even without guns, I believe the people if willing and commited, can take down an out of control government, just gonna make it harder is all. So it's not like all hope is lost.

Their 2nd Amendment ( 1791 )
Protects the right of individuals to keep & bear arms.
Reqested by several states during the Constitutional ratification debates, the widespread desire for such an amendment reflected the lingering resentment over the widespread efforts of the British to confiscate the colonist's firearms at the outbreak of the Revolutionary War.
The need once the Brits were gone remained????????
Perhaps for food, perhaps for injuns, whatever.
In 2014 the problem with guns should be solved with a sense of morality, a sense of principle, and let's face it a plain sense of right & wrong & downright good manners.
Those things have sadly gone from our society, we are now a heap of narcissistic, hedonistic idiots, with less sensitivity than ceramic tiles, more interested in what others have and what we don't have.
We are too self obsessed to go get it for ourselves - like our fathers & their fathers had to, no we want handouts.
Too darn hard.
What happened to a work ethic - no we now have third generation dole and have kids willy nilly and expect everyone else (Government) to cover the cost.
We have to have signs to save us from cliffs because we are idiots.
We have to have signs that tell us there is a rock under the water don't dive, because we are idiots.
We cannot for the life of us take one iota of responsibility for our actions because we are moral failures - murder now is OK as long as you have an excuse.
Whatever happened to being happy with what we could afford - not what we wanted and got into a whole heap of debt, 'enjoying' it, then blaming everyone else.
Yes, we are all created equal, the truth is some are cleverer than others, always have been, always will be.
It is therefore equal opportunity, the right to have a go, that we all have a right to.
I have read so much pure unadulterated, ??????? on guns ( if no-one had one we would have to resort to the frypan ) at least most would survive, knives etc, that my blood boils, it's war overseas, it's war at home, us against us.
Don't you think it is about time to take heed, it all has to stop somewhere, sometime, or we have every Mad Max & the genre in our future.
Every man for himself, what a great world to live in.
We should be ashamed for what the human race has become.

do you really want to live in a world where every possibility of harm is governed by a law?
gun laws work statistics prove it.
tell that to the unarmed defenseless hostages killed and injured and their families....

You would surely be joking.

Do you really think that if somebody was armed it would end up better ? Nobody could be sure if there is a bomb in the backpack. Look at the shaking terrified people running into street; do you think any would have been able to get handgun out, aim and shoot without being shot first? Dream on.

A person with a concealed carry pistol might have had the opportunity.
He obviously let his guard down a couple of times.
Their is a precendent for someone having a concealed weapon on them and getting the chance to use it.
Funny how I thought the complete opposite.
If there was one person in that room that had made an attempt to pull out a concealed weapon against a lunatic holding a submachine gun then I suspect that today we would have woken up to the news that we had 20 innocent people dead.
