Yes I'm starting political thread ,in the words of my 6 year old build a bridge and then jump off it.
What concerns me more than any other thing about this election is how a protester can be allowed to get so close to our pm & for so long (regardless who it is) & not be challenged or removed immediately , if he had a knife or a gun we could have been looking a tragedy . Extremely bad slip in security

You're right, Kilroy.  It could have been anyone.  I did like how the security female eventually tackled him.  I heard he was a comedian, is that right?

I was shocked too. It could have been so easy for  a horrific event to have occurred.

There are many out there and even on here who wouldn’t be too unhappy.

'it could have been anyone' .. including someone with a valid question or 2. apart from john newman, the only attempt at a political assasination in aust was on Arthur Calwell, slow news day.
